For Project Management Skills for Value Delivery we asked project management leaders and staff members from a wide variety of industries to rate themselves on advanced skills in the areas of business acumen, leadership, ways of working and organizational agility. Participants also indicated what they felt were the most important skills in each area. The gap between perceived importance and self-assessment was significant. In addition, the survey population scored their organizations on project management performance, allowing us to develop a picture of the skills most important to, and most developed in, high-performing organizations.
