Book Launch! The Project Management Maturity Model, Fourth Edition Released Today

Almost a year in the making, the newest edition of this book, based on PM Solutions’ time- and field-tested maturity model, includes assessment tools for organizations undergoing a transformation to Agile or adaptive project management approaches. These “Adaptive/Agile Environment” components and practice statements for each of the five maturity levels are paired with the components and practice statements for the ten project management knowledge areas, to give organizations a full picture of their progress on both improving fundamental PM capability and adding agility.
Agile/adaptive components have also been added to the Portfolio Management Maturity Model that is included in the book.
Why measure maturity? It’s simple: Knowing where you stand allows you to know what and how to improve. And organizational improvement yields positive business results. You can read more about this in the Excerpt from Chapter 13.
