State of the PMO 2022: What's In It for Me?

February 16, 2022 | by Jeannette Cabanis-Brewin

Need a strong, data-based argument for PM improvement? We've got you covered.

If you're like me, when you get an invitation to fill out a survey, your first thought is: why should I bother with this? What will I get out of it?

In the case of The State of the PMO 2022, the answer is pretty clear. This study, performed every other year through 2016, has provided PMO leaders and project managers with countless strong, data-based arguments for improving project management practices and PMO reach.  I often speak to people for whom the research results from this study meant the difference between executive support or executive indifference when budgets for project management improvement were on the table.

So, if you missed your chance to participate in this study in January, please share your valuable experience with others, and gain a tool for improving project management at the same time ... the study was reopened this week, and will be available today and tomorrow only (through February 18). Here's the link.
