Call for Nominations — 2011 Project Management Office of the Year Award

GLEN MILLS, Pa. (March 2, 2011) —Nominations are now being accepted for the sixth annual PMO of the Year® Award, cosponsored by PM Solutions and the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) Program Management Office Community of Practice (PMO CoP). Winners will be awarded at the PMO CoP’s PMO Symposium taking place November 6-9, 2011 in Orlando, Florida USA.

Founded by PM Solutions in 2006, the PMO of the Year Award recognizes PMOs each year that introduce novel ideas, methods and processes that result in measurable improvements and project management success within their organizations. All corporate and government PMOs are eligible for nomination, and entering the competition requires no fee.

“PMOs have rapidly expanded their influence and established themselves as organizational mainstays around the world,” said Kent Crawford, CEO of PM Solutions. “Each year the field of applicants for this award broadens, including larger numbers of PMOs from a wider span of the globe.”

Nominations for the 2011 PMO of the Year Award must be made by the director or manager of the PMO being nominated. Entry applications, judging criteria, information about the award and profiles of past winners are available at The deadline for entries is May 31, 2011. The winner and top three finalists will be notified in August 2011.
