PM Solutions Director

PM Solutions is the global “go to” source for PMO, portfolio, program, and project management consulting and training. We’re seeking to fill a key management role of Director to lead day-to-day field operations and quality of delivery for PM Solutions, ensuring the team and delivery approaches reflect the culture of the company and influence growth with a consistency that is both scalable and repeatable across new clients and geographic locations.

The ideal candidate will have great enthusiasm and experience building and growing a dynamic project management consulting practice by directly contributing to business proposals, partnering on business development pursuits, and a pattern of success toward capturing new business, and growing existing client accounts. Preferable location in Philadelphia, PA or Cincinnati OH area, but may consider others within Eastern US. Role does require up to 40% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Complement PM Solutions’ Business Development & Growth
  • Support PM Solutions team selling with the Director, Business Development, for assigned opportunities and accounts.

Enhance the Client Experience

  • Work with client and associate(s) at start-up to confirm method for measuring success.
  • Establish and manage proactive cadence for program reviews with our clients.
  • Refine and improve creative ways to approach our solutions in our proposals and in the presentation our final deliverables.
  • Ensure quality of delivery, incorporating process improvements when necessary
  • Work closely with Marketing in support of client-focused content creation, including establishing a process to capture case studies, client testimonials, etc.

Ensure Associate Connectivity

  • Establish and manage proactive cadence for connectedness in building long-term relationships with our associates.
  • Establish a process to facilitate networking with our associates that promotes a culture of shared learning and relationship building.
  • Manage the process to maintain and expand PM Solutions’ Intellectual Capital with client deliverables and other relevant resources.
  • For assigned associates, review and approve timesheets and expense reports, ensuring alignment to corporate policies, practices and client contract requirements.

Assist in Talent Acquisition and On-Boarding

  • Work closely with Recruiting and Human Resources as part of the recruiting process, interview potential new associates with an emphasis on company cultural fit and strength of interpersonal skills. Add more rigor in articulating the associate expectations and enhance the new associate on-boarding process.
  • Manage PM Solutions’ engagement kick-off process including: client contract requirements, review of scope, deliverable expectations and other related activities to support successful start-up of client assignments.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • At least five (5) years’ experience in a senior leadership and client relationship role within a management consulting and/or a professional services organization.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Prior hands-on experience and Professional certification and/or knowledge of PM methodologies and standards
  • Willingness to travel
