PMO of the Year Award Semifinalists Announced

Whew, that was a close one.

Many close ones, in fact. The field of 33 entries in this year's PMO of the Year Award competition was amazing. I wish our confidentiality rules did not preclude my naming all those who entered. From the Middle East and Africa, and across Canada and the US, we gathered descriptions of people doing great work making project management into a strategic partner in industry and government, from healthcare and insurance to the legal profession, sales, and utilities. Some of those who did not place missed by less than a tenth of a point.

Here are the lucky (and accomplished) seven, in alpha order:

Stay tuned for a look inside these remarkable organizations next week.  The winner and top three will be announced in early September and celebrated at the PMO Community of Practice Symposium in November in Orlando, FL..
