A Few Words of Appreciation

November 9, 2011 | by J. Kent Crawford

As we head home from the PMO Symposium, I just wanted to note that the PMI Volunteer PMO Symposium committee needs to be recognized for making this such a successful event!  They worked tirelessly for months preparing and were non-stop on location.  I wish I had all their names to thank them individually in this public forum, for they deserve the accolades.

It's inspiring to see how dedicated and passionate they were about putting on a quality event for their fellow PMO leaders. I'm sure PMI understands the value these volunteers bring to the profession. As a PMO Community of Practice member, I so appreciate their efforts and would personally like to thank them.  It was a smashing success!!

Naturally, as their partners in the PMO of the Year Award, we are also thrilled with the attention to detail and festive nature of the ceremony and reception they put on for the winner and finalists. It was a great way to wind up this program's year.

If you are not a member of the PMO CoP but lead or are implementing a PMO, check out what they have to offer here.
