Benefits realization management is one area where Best-in-Class PMOs stand out.

The State of the PMO 2016 research report, released last November, shows that the majority of organizations now either have PMOs or are planning to implement one in the coming year, the common functions and practices of PMOs are becoming a standard feature of organizations.

But for those PMOs that have been in place for over five years, expansion of responsibilities and improvements in results are remarkable.
