About Gary Alvord

Gary Alvord has over twenty five years of experience in program and project management, and information technology integration spanning a wide variety of business applications in financial, healthcare, manufacturing, and services companies.  A certified Project Management Professional; he is trained in complex project management, requirements development, and program benefits realization.  Mr. Alvord has experienced success working with globally dispersed and culturally diverse project teams in fast-paced, dynamic, ambiguous environments requiring team leadership, group participation and relationship management. He has specific experience consulting in Software Development, Deployment, Capital Projects, IT Infrastructure, Productivity Management, Work Flow Performance and Process Improvement.

Mr. Alvord uses coaching and mentoring to teach the skills of professional project management.  This consulting approach improves the effectiveness of the project teams during all phases of project execution, and long term value for the client organization after the project objectives have been met.  From short term projects to large capital programs, Mr. Alvord seeks to assure that every engagement is an opportunity to improve processes and skills through lessons learned, as well as help clients realize value for their efforts.
